This painting was inspired by women — or, more precisely, by my attempts to understand them. Sometimes even successfully. Every woman carries a thirst of her own. A thirst to escape the routine, breathe deeply, feel the energy of celebration, and forget every “must” and “should” — if only for one evening. For some, a glass of beetroot juice is enough. Others prefer tart pomegranate wine. And some, let’s be honest, might feel like drinking someone’s blood. But perhaps the drink is not the point. It is the desire to feel like a queen, even for a moment — powerful, daring, and entirely free. Sometimes thirst is not a request for a drink. It is a thirst for freedom, intensity, and life.
